National Churches Trust - Jubilee Procalmation

As a previous recipient of a grant from the National Churches Trust, we are hoping that you will help us celebrate Her Majesty The Queen and her outstanding support of churches as a part of the Jubilee commemoration.

Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II has been Patron of the National Churches Trust since 1953 when the Historic Churches Preservation Trust, its predecessor charity, was founded. In that time, we have supported over 12,000 churches with grants and loans in excess of £100 million.

To mark Queen Elizabeth's support for churches, we have produced a special Jubilee Proclamation which thanks her for her patronage of church buildings and heritage. We will be publishing the proclamation in some national and specialist newspapers and magazines, but are calling on churches, chapels and meeting houses throughout the UK to join us in publishing this special proclamation in parish magazines, newsletters, on church websites and as posters on church noticeboards.

We have produced a number of resources to make this easy. There is a special press release as well as ready-to-use artwork, available in several different formats, for you to download. All the information that you need as well as answers to any questions you may have can be found on our website at

We hope that you will join us in celebrating this important occasion and will be able to publish this Jubilee Proclamation ideally at the end of May or start of June 2022.

Many thanks for your support.
